The greatest thing that has ever been given to me is my family. And it all started with this man...

Beach F-U-N!!!

We went to the beach each morning while we were in Hilton Head. We'd get there around 9 a.m. and it would already be 95 degrees. It was a HOT vacation, but that's what I like when I go to the beach. :) We only stayed until lunch time each day b/c the heat was over-whelming for Landon AND Scott. There was no shortage of fun and play each morning!

Building a sand castle with Papa.

If you said, "Ella Beth, smile for me," this is the pose that you'd get. Such a funny girl!

Playing Frisbee - and look at her tricep muscle!

I love me a good tushy shot. ;)

Landon with his bucket and shovel - two of his favorite things.

Ella Beth wanted to boogie-board morning and evening!

There was a "pool" of water left over from the high tide each morning. This was Landon's favorite place to play.

His other favorite things...sea doos!

Such a pretty girl.

I love the look of anticipation on Ella Beth's face as she's waiting for the waves to come.

Splash!

This was as close as Landon got to being in the waves. ;)

Both kiddos wanted to be buried in the sand.

I just love making memories with our family. I can still hear Landon squealing as he ran from the tide, and I can still hear Ella Beth laughing as the waves crashed into her. Their smiles are etched in my mind. We had such a wonderful time getting away and having fun together. I'm already looking forward to next year. :)

Let's BOOGIE!

We went to the beach each evening because Landon liked the ocean a whole lot more when the sun wasn't beating down on him. The waves were awesome in the evening, too, so we all had a great time!

The kiddos couldn't get enough of their boogie boards!

There were smiles all around!

Daddy got quite the work out pulling the kiddos, and my finger got quite the work out shooting my camera. ;)

Ella Beth tried to pull Landon, but he didn't get very far. :)

Daddy's turn!

Hold on tight 'cuz here we go!!!!!

Ella Beth is FOUR!!!!

Ella Beth turned f-o-u-r today. I have to be honest and say that FOUR hit me a lot harder than I was expecting it to. FOUR seems so BIG. But, even though my wish to slow time down didn't come true, we had a wonderful day celebrating the beautiful, sweet, stubborn, intelligent, out-going-yet-shy Ella Beth. :)
I interviewed Ella Beth and posted her answers like this. A very fun craft idea!

Our little Minnie. :)

When Ella Beth was 20 months old, we were at a Mother's Day banquet. Her cousin, Aspen, had chewing gum and Ella Beth asked me if she could have some. I told her (very nonchalantly) that she could have some when she turned 4. Never in a million years did I ever imagine that she would remember that...but apparently she did. I dread getting gum out of her hair!

The cutest cake I have ever seen! Thank you, Kate, for making it! It was a huge hit at the party!

I had way.too.much.fun making the decorations with my cricut!!!! I just love how everything turned out!

Ella Beth was all smiles all day!

The little kids eating together. This picture is so sweet!

Ella Beth's loot. Oh my!

Family shots!

Time to open presents. If it was GIRLY, this tiny girl got it! Lots of fun for us while Landon naps!

Too cute! Can't wait for her to wear it!

Ella Beth's first night gown. It is a 4T...and she will be wearing it until she's about 7. Hilarious, but it is so stinkin' cute!

Here's the BIG surprise...

A bike! With a baby seat for her baby dolls. ;)

The bike was from Mimi, but I got all the credit I guess. :)

Riding lessons from Daddy!

We had such a fun time celebrating our BIG girl. I can not believe four years have passed since Ella Beth was born. I have watched the videos of her first moments of life this past week...I so wish I could get those moments back. But, since I can't...I sure hope I can keep up with Miss Thing as she grows up way too fast!
